Six line vs.Cirrhilabrus punctatus

I have a 3" Six line Wrasse that hasn't seen another wrasse since he has been in my tank about 2 years. A fellow reefer has a 5 1/2" Cirrhiabrus Punctatus wrasse that he needs a good home. The reputaion of the Six line makes me think it would not work. Any adavice or experiences would help

six lines are pretty nasty and being in that tank for quite some time i would be worried about the fairy..but i seen soem punctatus be pretty nasty..how large is your tank?

The tank is 120gal 48x24x24. My understanding is this perticular punctatus is pretty peaceful.

Six lines and fairy or flasher wrasses don't work.

i agree with steve...it always seems like one or the other has to go
