Size of tank for mantis?

I am looking to set up a tank for a Mantis Shrimp, but I do not know how big I need to get? I have a 10g that I can buy some rock and sand for, or should I get a 15g or 20g? Any help will be appreciated.

Kinda depends mostly on how big a species of mantis you are planning on and how much room you want to give it to roam and hunt in.

I have a rather small (almost 2") G. smithii in a 10g, but don't think I would keep a 6" or greater one a tank that size. You'll see the mantis more in a smaller environement (probably), but it may also be pretty cramped depending on temperament and size.
