Skarlet Skunk & Pepermint Shrimp fighting

I have 2 tanks that I bought 1 pepermint shrimp for and 1 emerald crab for, the master plan was to switch these guys from tank to tank to just do work, however today when I moved my Pepermint shrimp over my Skarlet Skunk instantly went into attack mode.. is this normal behavior, should I hurry up and seperate them? or will they get over it?

It's always a good idea to separate fighting inverts. The Skunks can get very territorial and since the Peppermint looks like the Skunk, he most have thought that the Peppermint was moving in on his turf, so he went after 'em.

On a side note, your Peppermint shrimp would probably do better in that 24g if he had some other Peppermint shrimps to hang out with, they're a pretty social invertebrate.
