Trying to decide on a new skimmer SWC Xtreme Cone Protein Skimmer 250 1A for $550 or aquac ev 400 with mag 24 for 300 thanks in advance

I just received the SWC 300 A and love it. Quiet and moves a ton of air

IMO I wouldnt do the AquaC for a couple reasons. The mag pump produces and ton of heat and uses alot of electricity. But Ive never been a big fan of downdrafts and never got one to perform very well. I would even do the regular SWC skimmers over the AquaC.

I have to agree with Joey the swc is nice Im running the regular one I picked up from Joey and it is a beast on a side note I have a etss 600 if ur interested it's a beast but the mags make some heat performance is good however IMO
