Ok I swear I had it up to me ears in bad skimmer choices so I'm asking yall what I should get here are the limts

No more than 200
Nothing rated bigger than a 75 gallon
Has to fit in a 10 gallon sump, not alot of space so smaller is better.
No alot of noise.

P.S. I haven't ever got my membership card??

Why can it not be rated larger than 75gallons?
If you look at the lowest rated skimmers for most brands, 90% of them handle atleast 100gallons. So by refusing to go above 75 gallons you limit yourself to 2-3 specific units, that imo don't get the job done. Also when it comes to ratings, companies vary alot, they have no idea what kind of bioload you have in your tank.

I have a skimmer rated for 220g on my 45. Not the greatest skimmer but thats due to the brand, not fact that its oversized. It skims but it sticks more stuff to the neck than it puts in the cup. I've been reading forums latley on what to replace it with. A new company, SWC,seems to have a cult following at the moment. I plan to pickup a SWC 120 extreme cone ($220), tiny foot print, quiet and said to perform very well when compared to other skimmers in the same price range.

If it weren't for the over 75 gal exception I've heard great things about reef octopus skimmers. Memfish had a nwb-100(or 110, can't remember) that I've had my eye on for my 40. It fits within your costs, and quite possibly within the space requirements.

Some of the smaller Vertek's or ASM Skimmers are probably close to what your looking for. Relatively cheap in price and skim well.

Well I was thinking in the sense the higher the rating the larger the skimmer, I mean I get one that is rated for a 220 if it fits.

Get a Tunze 9010 and be done with it. Find one used so you save yourself some money and its a beast. If you think its too much just set it up on a timer so it only runs so much. I think youd be happy with something along these lines. Wish your tank the best.
