skimmer box for refugium?

Can i use an overflow skimmer box for the return of my fuge? It is above my sump,so gravity is being used.I would assume it would work. Just tring to nbot have to drill my 20l.

If you mean the drain from the refugium.Then your answer is yes you can.You should keep an eye on it from time to time if your going to have macroalgae in the fuge.The drain can plug up with macroalgae and overflow the tank.

Sure, if it works for tanks, it should work for your fuge.

Like alpine said, just keep an eye on it for macro plugging up and even making it into the sump and getting chopped up in the return pump and spread all over your tank.
