Skimmer break in question

Is it normal for a skimmer to have a ton of micro bubbles coming out of the output during the break in process?

How long does it ussually last? I have the output wide open right now is this correct?

Leave the output open for a couple weeks, and leave your air knob closed completely for a couple weeks. Generally the break in process takes about 2 weeks.
