skimmer bubbles

My skimmer is making alot of microbubbles that it was not making originally and causing lots of bubbles in my tank, what is the likely cause of this sudden occurence?

what kind of skimmer in sump or hang on, and what brand and model.

Did you add anything to the water? Some of them will cause extra bubbles. ie. Stress coat.

Have not added anythign new to the tank. Skimmer is in sump octopus NW200.
