So my system is 100gal. DT , 25gal in sump/fuge , mixed reef LPS dominant(but adding a little SPS down the road) 10-12 small fish+ a wrasse and 2small Tangs . Looking for a skimmer to sit in 10" of water+\- and a foot print smaller than 11x13. I've been looking at...Vertex omega150, RO Diablo xs160, SSA cs8, Bubble Magus , Aquamax em.....I have been reading (for hours:headwalls:) on here , probably too much info !!! Any pros/cons on the about units ? Other skimmers or "better" size recommendations ? Thanks for any / all opinions.

I'm with you. I have read till my eyes bleed. I really wanted the Aquamaxx EM200 but no one has them or knows when they will have them. I finally decided on a SWCextreme 180. It's also on back order but expected this week.

First set a budget, then pick a skimmer that has a good pump that is easy to get and the impeller that is not to expensive.
The JNS 2 skimmer is one of Mojo's favorite.
The Omega 150 would work fine in your tank but likes 8'' deep.
The diablo xs160 seems like a great skimmer also.
I have the Omega 150 on my 120 mixed reef it is working really well it takes about a week to fill the cup.
