Skimmer Foam Head

Ok been at this for almost 2 years and recently changed out my 180 for a new marine land tank of the same size. Anyway after moving my tank it seems I can't get my skimmer tuned. Before I'd get some nice thick skimmate. Now it's very wet. A few days ago I dialed it down a lot. The micro bubbles are in the neck and body. About where you see the cup the bubbles get to around pea size but my skimmate it still very wet. Should I dial it down more or leave it alone for a few days and see what happens. Bio load on the tank is more now than before I changed tanks. I've posted a video to get your opinion of the skimmate and it I need to dial it up or down,,,,

I had the same problem with an asm g2. it was very consistently pulling dark stinky skim for at least a year and then one day it stopped making a foam head.

I tried everything (cleaning the whole skimmer with vinegar, changing water depth, adjusting stand pipe, modding with gate valve, etc) and the bubbles would only pop in the riser tube but they'd never combine into a foam and spill over. I never figured it out. If anyone knows the solution I'd be interested to hear, too.

Maybe when you changed tanks, you cleaned out a lot of skimable material. Chances are it will come back. New tanks don't skim well.
