skimmer help

I have a coralife 125 on my 90g fowlr
I am tired of adding water everyday, so I lowered the pump to the bottom of the sump and the skimmer creates no bubbles.
I blew in the line and bubbles started in the chamber.
so then I hooked up a bubble maker to the airline (that connects to the pump) and the skimmer works.

is there anyway I can make this skimmer work without a bubble maker and have the pump at the bottom of the sump

HAhahaha whats up man u have the same problem I have....

U need to connect the venturi back on the pump....U must have accidently loosened it...I had the same damn problem.

The venturi is where the airtube is connected to the pump. On ur pump it should be a grey little clamp like thing that can be removed. The sucky thing about the stock CSS125 pump is that if it is like 1/16 off it will not produce bubbles. Youll need it to be really snug and tight.

Ill get a pic and help u out more in a bit.

Better yet take it off clean it off and snap it back on its easy...Tell me if u get it working...
