Skimmer Help!!!

Ok I know this question has been asked many times before but what is the best skimmer for a 240 w/60 gal. sump. The budget is around $500. My husband is thinking about MRC 2 or 3 but we need any and all suggestions, pros & cons. If you like yours or not let us know. Please Help!!

I just saw an MRC skimmmer at the Atlanta Saltwater U meeting this weekend and wow! is that thing industrial or what? I know there are cheaper and bigger ones out there but I doubt you will find anything built better.

Just keep in mind the cost of running a beckett vs. a needle wheel. You might just find that it will be cheaper to put a little more $$ up front and save it on electricity in the long run!

I used to run a dual injector MR-2 with extension. It worked great, but boy did it hurt every month when I got the electric bill...290 watts running 24/7...ouch!
