Skimmer Issue Aquamaxx EM300

I'm sure this may just be user error of some sort but on my skimmer, where the adjustment valve and outlet fitting meet I'm having some issues. Randomly, the whole adjustment tube just blows right out of the outlet. I can get it to stay stable if I adjust the flow enough that I don't even get bubble production all the way up the body of the skimmer, much less the neck. Any ideas? I've attached a pic with a red circle around the area I'm referring to in case it's not clear.

Hey just received my em300. I had same issue. It's not necessarily an issue. U have to hold the clear part and unscrew it so u see the square opening for water to go out. Otherwise it'll keep bobbling.
