Skimmer keeps overflowing

I've got a Bubble Magus Curve 5 on my 125 and it's been doing a fantastic job. However, I noticed in the last 24 hours, it is just foaming over the top even when set at it's lowest setting. It's not pulling gunk out of the water, as all the water in the collection cup is clear...Any ideas?

It has always worked flawless...The only thing that has changed, is a dosed the tank with malefix for some fin rot that my fox face has.

the meds would be the culprit... anytime you dose meds/use glue or epoxy or slime remover, etc... it will typically make the skimmer go gonzo for a few days. Shut the skimmer down for at least 48 hours and then see... you may have to do a water change to get it back up and running...

everytime i put glue, or epoxy into the tank, the skimmer would overflow for hours..

same thing when I changed filter socks every 3 days. I just turn the skimmer off for a few hours.

Another reason to empty your collection cup regularly. Few times I was finding all that junk back in my tank
