I originally teed my bio pellet reactor into skimmer but have replaced that media with gfo, would this have any impact on skimmer? I am thinking no but wondering if I am missing something. Phosphate removal levels should be low
It will depend if your flow through the reactor is the only feed to the skimmer. If it is I can assume the flow needed will be to much for GFO, you only want the top to be agitated.
