The pump makes the skimmer right? I'm looking for a skimmer to since I have this ebay sc 65 which is basically a bubble mags nac 3 I believe. It uses an atman pump. It seems pretty much most of the skimmers use the atman brand. I'm looking at the bubble magus nac 5.5 or this seaside aquatic that is $70 more but uses a sicce pump.
I have a system of 50 gallons or so. I'm trying to find a skimmer that is basically"plus one" that is a reliable option that really is plug in and forget. .
