Skimmer question Swc-160

Hey guys just wondering if there is such a thing as to big of a skimmer for your system. I'm looking to get a new skimmer. The swc-160 is rated for upto 150g, but my system is 55g water volume. Will this work for me? http://www.swcskimmers.com/product2.html

That skimmer will not be too big for your system. I like the AquaMaxx CO-1 better for your system:

It comes with a Sicce pump which is much better IMHO.
