Skimmer Question

Hi All

I am setting up a 7 foot tank and the LFS is trying to get me to buy the Aquamedic Turboflotor 1000.

I was leaning towards a Tunze Venturi 230/3

If any one has had good or bad experiences with these skimmers I would appreciate your opinons.

The Aquamedic Turboflotor 1000 will not even be close to big enough for your tank.

I have a heavily stocked 90 gallon, and I have one. I'm looking to upgrade.

The Tunze may be OK, but I've never seen one. For every skimmer manufacturer except Euro-reef, Deltec, H&S, and Bubble King, you need to cut the manufacturer's rating in half to get a decent idea of the tank size the skimmer can handle.
