Skimmer Question

Hey everybody. I've searched for this problem and have not been able to find any real answers. The past two times I have cleaned my collection cup and skimmer body I keep having an abundance of bubbles in the cup. I'm talking like if you blew bubbles into the collection cup. That size. I haven't adjusted my skimmer in over 4 months and has always ran perfect ish. Any ideas on what's causing this.

It still produces skimmate the problem is that the bubbles get so big sometimes that they start protruding the vent holes in the cap. It's not bubbling Over and I don't have it turned up to much. It just started out of the blue.

It's causing me to empty my cup every two days or so and I've only got like 1/4 inch of skimm

Your not using soap on it are you?

Hahaha no. I do a normal rinse with rodi water.

Just adjust skimmer. Occasionally need to. Maybe water level changed a little.

That's the thing though. The water level can't change in the chamber it is in. The only chamber water level should change is the return section. I've adjusted it a 1/4 turn down to see if that helps or hurts.
