Skimmer question

Would changing the flow in your DT cause a skimmer to freak out? was running great all along and this morning it went nuts! I turned up the flow in the DT for better water movement.

Only if the skimmer is in the DT, and then it should not change much unless very near the stream from the power head

It sounds like something clogged you air intake in the skimmer. Consider letting it suck up some RODI water to flush out any salt deposits. Else, take it apart and see what's inside to cause the change.

Thanks everyone, the strange thing is it is working better now than ever it is skimming some really nasty grunge! I am wondering if there was a blockage that was there since I bought it (used) and it suddenly cleared itself.
