Hi all,
I have had my IM Nuvo Fusion 40 for about a year. The day before I went out of the country for a week the adjuster knob on my IM Ghost skimmer broke off. I emailed them but it looks as though it is about a month out of warranty (grrrr). As of now I don't have a skimmer as it just pumps out bubbles non stop when it runs. So my questions:
1. Is IM cool about being slightly outside of warranties? I'd prefer to just get a free replacement as it is still only a year old. Anyone have any experience?
2. Does anyone have a recommendation for a new skimmer that fits in the IM Fusion 40? Obviously if I can't get a free replacement I'm not going to buy another IM product as it broke so rapidly. I'm not particularly skilled at retrofitting (which is why I got the IM skimmer to begin with) so something that would fit, does a good job, and requires minimal modifications would be best.
