Skimmer & return pump off for a day?

I'm concerned about O2 problems when my pumps are turned off.
I built a new sump and I want to swap out my old on with the new one. I have to redo a lot of plumbing.
Normally my ph high and low is 8.2 at 8 pm and 7.95 at 10am. I'm hoping I can get this done in 8 hours and have pumps up and running but it could take 24 or more hours. I'm never ran my tank with pumps off so I don't know what will happen. I have a 240 gallon with 4 tangs(all about 4 inches) 4 clown fish, 4 chomis, a flame angle a lawnmower blenny and a diamond goby. I have a few corals like toadstool frogspawn, zoas and a large torch. Normally I run 2 power heads at a time rotating every 15 minutes to circulate the water but since return pump will be off I'm going to run all 4 until sump transfer is complete. I plan on letting glue on pvc dry for 4 hours before turning on pumps. Should I be worried or not.

You should be fine with the added water movement from the 2 extra PHs. Just make sure you have enough surface agitation.

You don't need to wait that long for PVC glue to cure. I have run water through pipes (live stock in tank) as soon as 15 minutes after gluing pipes together. The smell worried me but I had no issues and have since talked to a few local people that have run water through there pipes only a few minutes after gluing.

However, if you have recently applied silicone, you should give that 24 to 48 hours to cure before you use it.

I've done one or two joints and only waited an hour. Since I'm doing 10 or more I might wait a little longer. I'm not worried about strength just chemicals. Silicone in sump has been cured for over a week so I'm good there. I'm feeling pretty good about it, if anyone else has any input don't hesitate.
