What kind of 55 is it? and do you care what it looks like? I have a 2x4 stand that I built that can easily be skinned, I did the same for my 75 with MDF and painted it black to match, it measures something like 48" by 16" or so, not really sure but I can go out to my shop and measure it if you want.

If you need one built let me know. I built my stand and complete hood for my 125gal out of birch plywood and only spent 100.00. But it does look rather nice for a simple large tank. Jason
