Hi I'm in the process of starting a 150g tank. I have a reef octopus sro2000 skimmer. My question is , can I or is there another good option besides the bubble blaster for the pump? Is there a comparable pump available that is better or similar? Or is the bubble blaster 2000 the only option? Reason being is the impeller is busted and if I'm going to buy a new one for 80$ I was thinking to get a new pump all together.

You can use other pumps, just be close to the flow the original pump had, my current skimmer a RO OCTX 200, is using a sicce instead of the pump it came with and I have no problems.
