Skimmers question

I just hooked up my euro reef rs-80 the other day, that sucker is pulling some stinky ole black crap after only 2 days

I also have my berlin turbo still running which is also pulling a bit as well...

Is it ok to run both of these guys or should I take out the berlin, clean her up and sell it....

is 2 skimmers overkill ???

I do have a heavy bio-load with the fish and feedings....

I have no clue so here I am asking for some one who knows

I think you'd be safe to leave both running, but i've had a euro-reef running for a year now and couldn't imagine needing anything more.

I figure it wouldnt hurt, I'm kinda to lazy to remove it as well, But I'm probably better off just removing it? At least then I can put some more rubble rock in that 1st chamber where the red-sea pump is, plus I could sell that skimmer for a $100 bucks prolly

I't has been discussed that two skimmers is a good idea. It certainly can't hurt.
