I'm just looking to be sure I have missed something really dumb and obvious here. I bought this from BRS along with many other things while getting ready for my new build and this was delivered smashed by UPS and BRS quickly sent another. Now I "think" I've got a defect. Nowhere near ready to actually use it, but figured I'd get it mostly assembled and right away found the recirculating pipe and the pump don't line up. If the pipe is perfectly square and vertical the union on the bottom is a good half inch away from the pump. If I force it the pipe is then cocked. It's partially threaded in the picture below, but I didn't force anything out of fear of breaking anything. The fitting at the pump is cocked so much there is no way it could ever seal either. So, could anyone with this model confirm if I got a dud and need a THIRD one shipped now, or if I have an "Oh, duh" waiting to come out? LOL
Oh, and I didn't get the picture dead on like I intended either, but it's not just an illusion and really does need to be cocked that much. Second one is with everything square and the large gap between pump and union.
