Skunk Cleaner Shrimp death...Questions

This morning I found one of my two Skunk cleaner Shrimp dead. It is not a Molt but definitely the shrimp.

There are several variables that could have caused this.

#1 New Tank is 1week old tomorrow. (All Filtration, Live Rock, Refugium transferred from former 55G tank into new 75G).

#2 Heater stuck on yesterday. Caught it at 84.9F and shut it off. Tank normally is around 81.5F.

#3 Because of #2 temp dropped to 74.9F overnight (Resolved now with new heater)

#4 There are 2 Pistol Shrimp in the tank, Both at opposite ends from where the cleaner shrimp hang out. The Cleaners do roam the tank when the lights go out but the body is in the usual place where they hang and across the tank from the Pistol shrimp.

Could the Pistol Shrimp have snapped him and he was able to get back to his hang out before dying?

Could the temps have caused one to die and nothing else?

Any other ideas?

All Parameters check out ok with the S.G at 1.024 on my Refractometer.

Tank mates are : 2 Pistol Shrimp, 1 Long Spined Urchin,3 Peppermint Shrimp, 1 Blood Shrimp, 1 Yellow Tang, 2 False Percs, 1 Large LTA, 1 Rainfordi Goby,1 Scooter Blenny, 1 Royal Gramma, 1 Yellow Watchman Goby (Not Paired with either Pistol) and many Corals mostly soft corals.

Any idea? This was a Large Cleaner Shrimp and has been with me since October 05.

I would think that if it was the temperature, something else would have gone too. I also had one just up and die on me last year. Very confusing...if it was the pistol, I doubt he would have been able to get back to his normal hang out. Maybe he was just old, and the temperature pushed him over, ut he was already going. How big was he? How big was he when you got him?

He was pretty big when I got him and was still about the same size which I would say was full size. May have been old age. :)

Everything else still seems to be ok.
