Skunk cleaner shrimp question

So I have two tanks one has a happy pair of cleaner shrimps while the other only has cleaner shrimp it's mate got sucked into a powerhead...

Now my question is can I move my lone cleaner into the other tank or will the existing two kill it?

Tank it will go in is a 150g

They shouldn't kill each other, but there will be some territorial stress related issues with two SCS in the same tank. Unless they happen to be opposite sex, in that case they would pair, but I don't think there is a reliable method of telling.

Curiousity quetion: how much did the pair of shrimp roam? Did they roam the tank as frequently as the single one? I ask since mine just recently passed (had him for years) and I'm debating whether or not I want a single active one or a stastionary pair as a replacement.

Adding a third cleaner shrimp is not likely to end well. Get another for the remaining one for that tank.

Cleaner shrimps are hemaphrodites they have both male and female and parts that's why sometimes you can see both shrimp with eggs at a time

My pair roams the tank while the lone one only roams when food is present or after lights out

In a 150 gallon tank I think you'll be ok.

FWIW, my LFS keeps all of their cleaner shrimp in a tank about the size of a 20 breeder and he has had any problems that I'm aware of. The tank is jam packed full of live rock though, so catching one can be a real PITA sometimes.
