Skunk + Fire + Peppermint = Compatible?

I have a 37g and I currently have (2) Skunk cleaner shrimps. I was looking to add a (1) Fire Shrimp and (1) Peppermint Shrimp. Will I be fine?

I've had the Skunk Cleaners in with Peppermint and Camels in the past with no problems. I think I've heard that Fire wouldn't be a problem with them either, but I don't have any experience with them.

MMmmm, how many shrimps do you think I could have?

Can I have a total of 6 shrimps in a 37g you think?

when i added my peppermint, i put in 30 (and another 15 into my fuge) into my 180, and then i have my large fire shrimp that was already there... no idea how many peppermint are left, but there's at least 20, and they've gotten quite big.

the key to shrimp is making sure they have enough food... pureists will shoot me for saying this, but overfeeding is good for tanks with shrimp.

Put shrimps in fuges... What will they eat? algae?

put them in there to eat aptaisia, and eat them they did... after that, i hate to say, they are disposable.

unless you have a purpose for peppermint shrimp, i wouldn't even bother with them... they're kinda like roaches. when food is around they come scurrying out to grab whatever they can, then back to the holes... if eating the 'overfeed' is the purpose, then in your size tank, less than 5 would be plenty.

Well I just got a Fire shrimp yesterday so I was thinking about getting a pair of Peppermints. That will be a total of 5. That should be good then... I hate aptasia and I hpoe they rott in reef hell.

I have all 3 with no problems...2 peps, 1 fire and 1 cleaner....the fire and the cleaner will chase each other since they other link to hang out behind my BTA but the fire usually wins! none of them even bother the peps though

I just got 2 peps last night and I currently have 1 Fire and 2 Skunk Cleaners. Couldnt help to notice your blenny as I have the same one too!

I must just have a nasty fire. I feed, normally over feed.. but I've had two peps go missing and have yet to find a trace of them... since the tank is currently fishless, and has been since pep # 2 went missing, I can't figure out what else it would be. Only snails, a TINY emerald, which was added after pep #1 went missing. So I'd say add with caution. But then again, could just be my fire doesn't like other shrimp.

I have bred Lysmata shrimp, although I've only got peppermint shrimp to complete their life cycle so far. Typically you can keep any number of peppermint or skunk cleaners together. Although they will eat their own larvae. Fire Shrimp/Blood Shrimp are much more aggressive and only a breeding pair can be kept long term in anything but a very large aquarium. In my experience 75 gal is too small for more than 2 fire shrimp. However I don't have any problems keeping fire shrimp with peppermint or skunk cleaners. Nevertheless a fire shrimp might take advantage of any crustacean that recently shed and hasn't hardend yet.

In the case of peppermint shrimp you can keep them packed in so they are walking on top of each other as long as they are well fed.
