Skunk Shrimp And Blue Clam

WILL A SKUNK SHRIMP DO DAMAGE to a clam at night? its always picking at it, the shrimp is 4in long clam about the same

can you post a pic?

if the shrimp is picking I woud either remove it or place a clear plastic bottle filled with holes over the clam to shield it from the shrimp

Definately. I had 2 cleaner shrimp that would get on my clams and steadily pick at the mantle. The mantle would retract but the shrimp would still keep picking until the clam would close all the way. They need to open to get the light they need. Mine always did it at night as well. I got rid of those little ********!
