So, I am finally getting around to making the stand for my propegation system. The frame and top and bottom plywood is Pine. Everything Else is Red Oak. I was going to use Cherry, but I couldn't find decent looking lumber anywhere (I tried a couple places). I considered using Lyptus, but i have never worked with it before, and this piece will have a prominent place in the house.
Here are the basic plans (note a couple numbers weren't updated)

Here are pictures of the structure. I used a Kreg Pocket Hole Jig to do the pocket holes that bind the frame together. It makes a really strong joint, and I was able to use the pocket hole clamps and face clamps to make extremely square joints.
