So I have a 300 g mixed reef with sugar sized sand bed and algae started to mat on top of my substrate. My phosphates, nitrates coral growth, etc... are all great, so I purchased a sand sifting star. Needless to say my starfish did little to help. I purchased a gold head goby and wow my sand bed is as white as can be, but my water is now hazy. Does anyone know if the haziness will go away after time. Will this agitation to the sand bed cause a spike in neutriants? The utility of the goby is amazing but if it has the potential to crash my tank not sure If I should keep him.....
Thanks!!

Thanks!!
