Small jebaos on larger tanks?

Has anyone tried smaller Jebao pumps on larger tanks? Here's my interest. I have an 8' tank with a pair of WP60s and WP40s on each side to provide adequate flow to the middle of my tank. Because the 40s/60s push so much flow, I can't put corals on the sides because of tissue getting torn off. I was interested in trying to use several smaller pumps on the back wall versus only large pumps on the sides. Back to my original question, are the magnets of the smaller pumps strong enough to hold on the back of the tank with say 1/2"+ wall thickness? Imagine multiple WP10s on the back and sides versus monster wp40/wp60 flow on the sides.

I'll be home Thursday. My brother has the only wp10 I could test in his biocube in Salinas. I can ask him to check for you later on. But I can let you borrow a wp25 to test out. I have had it running in my roughly two foot cubed frag section of the sump. But I understand your struggles with the 60's we have a set in our 300 we have mostly had sand movement issues though the way we have our rocks we have not ran into coral issues yet.
