I recently started this 29 gallon bio-cube and wanted to add a few small snails if possible that would stir and clean my sand bed. I have a sand sifting star in my 90 gallon which does a great job but it gets too large to be in such a small system. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
I am having a problem with dark green film algae on the sand surface right now. All of the water parameters are in check so I have limited the amount of time that the lights are running in order to limit some of the "fuel" for the algae. Hopefully it will run its course and then go away. The tank is about 1 month old.
