There's a small white hairy crab with skyblue eyes on one of my acros. This a bad or a good guy?

Bad! You only want to keep the smooth acro crabs.

ive heard that if you take the colony out of the tank and squirt seltzer water at the crab, he'll come right out! and the colony will be just fine....HTH.

Or take out the coral and pull him out with a pair of tweezers

these guys are bad

i used a joes juice applicator (no juice in it) and just kinda flicked it around till it was out near an edge and then out

Kinda like oosurfin, I use a tootpick and coax the crab to the edge and then fling em out.

Is it the hairy ones that are usually bad? Do they eat the coral?

I had 2 small hairy ones on a Mille. I noticed a bare patch (all polyps gone, white showing through) where they were hanging out. I got rid of them. Just wanted to confirm that they seem to eat Acro?
