Smartphone photography / lenses

so do you any of you use the mini lenses for smart phones?

post pics and your reviews, recommendations, etc

Any reasonable quality lens should provide some interesting results.

Before I got my DSLR, I would stick a lens on my point and shoot camera with 2-sided tape.
This lens was removed from a small pair of binoculars.

I used it for photographing coins and stuff to sell on ebay.
I haven't really got better results yet from my DSLR, so it's worth a shot. (I do not have the experience with my DSLR yet to take great macros)

That little stick on lens was great.

I would imagine this would work similar on a smart phone, although I am not sure what focal length these are designed as.

A good macro lens and a tripod will get you off to a great start. If you get serious, one of the incremental mounts will be of use - I'm trying to justify one to the wife but she really wants the camera paid off before I start slapping add-ons on to the credit card
