Timten, as far as hydroids I never had a problem with them. My guess would be that they didn't like my water and died off.

My floosie of a peppermint shrimp went and got pregnant!?!Babies having babies!
I tried to get a good picture but she is in constant motion. Out of around 100 pics here are the best.
Right behind the last leg you can see "egg" shapes. It becomes more apparent when you realize that whole bulge is usually not there.
I'm not quite sure what to do. I'm going to go really light on feeding anticipating the huge bloom of babies. Not sure if it will foul a 24g tank? I could take it back to the LFS if that is the case. I don't have the equipment or time to do a hatching tank.
Either way I'll try and get some better pics and give another update.
