Hi all,

I just noticed a snail without a shell on my glass that is about 1/2cm long:

Bottom photo has the correct color.

It doesn't look like stomatella nor Berthella stellata and looks like it has some kind of soft shell on top. Any ideas?

I can't believe I'm still finding new creatures in my tank 4 months after I started it...

It's a keyhole limpet in the family Fissurellidae. They usually aren't a problem in reef tanks. The soft thing covering the shell is its mantle.

Cheers,

Don
