What snails or similar crew have the least problem and are the most effective in clearing algae from glass? I mean to the extent of vastly reducing the need to clean the front glass.
I mean for both reef tank with a few small fish, and fish only tank (plus the snails of course)
I want some experienced persons to comment on:
1. the effectiveness
2. possible problems in disease control, particularly as necessary secondary hosts that will affect fish.
3. being safe from other animals such as most fish.
4. If a tank has a trigger fish, can such a snail exist?
