I googled "snake polyp" and didn't find a whole lot of information. Borneman in his book says the coral, Isaurus species, are "rarely available to the hobby aquarium." Does anyone know why this is so? I purchased what I believe is I. tuberculatus at a fish store the other day. The owner said he'd had it about a year and while far from eye catching and colorful, it is kind of interesting in a drab and ugly way, and a night feeder. Now I'm wondering that if it isn't collected and available in the trade maybe there is a reason for me to get rid of it. Comments appreciated.
