hey im looking at going on a trip to cuba, mexico,or carribian and its primarly going to be spent in the water and want to know where the best snorkeling/diving is looking for the best reefs and diviristy thanks a bunch.

Cozumel in the Mexican Caribbean is always a great choice. Excellent diving, great vis, awesome coral structure, loads of fish, warm water. It's also easy to get to from the US and relatively cheap compared to other areas of the Caribbean. I can't compare the diving to the rest of the Caribbean though since I've only dove Coz and the Mexican Riviera.
Grand Cayman is more expensive and is beautiful, with stellar diving from what I hear - but I didn't get to dive there so can't help with the dive questions.

Scuba

Scuba

Belize, seahorses among the mangroves ( sea crocks too ), the blue hole down 240 ft with bull sharks swimming everywhere overhead. Resting nurse sharks that let you get really close. Whale sharks, great dives, interesting night dives and great tropical islands. And fish, fish, fish.

just got back from diving in Cozumel, and was diving in Grand Cayman in November. I'd have to recommend Coz for convenience, price and underwater beauty. GC was nice but pricey. If you really want to dive dive dive, I'd recommend an all inclusive like CoCo View, or Fantasy Island in Roatan Honduras. You could easily get in 5 dives a day. Reasonable in price too.
