I have some pocillapora that I want to kill. It's a case of too much of a good thing. Any ideas?

Boiling hot water
This is the first thing I tried. I got some very hot water and used a turkey baster to deliver it at point blank range. Much to my surprise, it has not done that much damage. I think there is such strong current in the area that the heat doesn't really get to the coral.

Kalk paste / Joes Juice
I may try this next, but I think the current will just blow it all over the place.

Remove from tank
I may try this but I'm worried about letting pieces loose in the tank that will just spawn elsewhere, and I'll still probably have enough left on the rock to make a new colony so I'll still have to take care of it somehow...

So any other ideas?

I will vouch for Randy, this pocillpora-sp is spawning everywhere. Little pieces all over, not enough to frag but a real nuisance. Kind of like xenia or even aptaisia. It is just taking over.
