I must've been in the naughty list this year. I didn't get anything for my tank. Actually I bought myself a nano reef radiance light that I hope gets to me in early January.

MP60, $400 in fish, $900 in frags and 10' of blue R/O tubing... Best of all is permission to upgrade to a 10-foot peninsula tank.

Got a gift coupon for battle corals, tongs, and some supplements:D

Eddie also gave me some frags, lol!

I've been a really good boy.

I got a GHL Doser 2, Maxspect gyre 150 and a Tunze Care Magnet Strong.

Then Doser 2 was kicking my *ss trying to set it up. Takes a lot of configuration but I got it finally up and running.

Positives:
- Well built (except one thing - see below)
- Very exact - if you want to dose one drop a day this will do it no problem
- Lot of features - if you want to dose from your phone its easy to do; great when your setting up something for the first time. Beats plugging it to your computer every time you want to make a adjustment. Also keeps track of your reservoir levels and alerts you at a predetermined low level. You can select which day and what time you want to dose.
- looks good.

Negatives:
- Not plug and play at all. You have to do some configuration to set everything up. You have to use a computer and is has to be a pc. Nothing can be done from the unit itself. You must use a computer. Maybe since your using the Profilux your used to that. I'm coming from Apex and setup is a lot easier with them.
- Not ready for prime time - They just had a new firmware upgrade a few days ago. Before that it unit was a virtually impossible to setup. The MyGhl.com is coming in the next few months. This will allow you to configure all of your Profilux products in one dashboard.
- Although the build quality is high end over all (they use aluminum) the ac port is not big enough to push the ac adapter all the way in. So the connection is quite loose. Moving the unit around will shut it off. Its not just mine as there are others that have had to drill the whole slightly larger for a secure connection.
- Android app is faulty - once you sign in make a change you have to back out all the way and sign back in to make another change.

Overall I think the software lags behind the hardware capabilities. Once the updates start rolling through this will be a really good product.
