Make sure you get enough flow with those powerheads. You will want adequate flow behind and in front of your rockworks. If you see a build up of detritus/junk somewhere, you may need to reposition your powerheads or get a stronger powerhead. Looks good so far what do you plan on adding? What is your lighting and what you got in your filter?

There is this black stuff on some parts of the rock would that be considered the junk? Do have any ideas where I should place my power heads or which power heads are good choices? In my filter I have filter cartridges with premium black diamond activated carbon and a bio wheel. My light is 50/50 24" T8 17watt. Thank you! :)

Also I haven't really decided what fish I want yet but here are some of my choices/ones I want:
snowflake eel or white eye moray eel
pair of clownfish
small group of pajama cardinals
black cap basslet
splendid dottyback
horned blenny
sea serpent or brittle starfish
blue tuxedo or pincushion urchin
yellow tang or other smaller tang
shrimp, crabs, snails, etc.
firefish
small group of agile chromis
I know there is a lot it is just that they are all so pretty and it is very hard to choose is there any way that you could help me limit my choices. :)

Also I haven't really decided what fish I want yet but here are some of my choices/ones I want:
snowflake eel or white eye moray eel Not in that sized tank
pair of clownfish some species of clowns will need a larger tank
small group of pajama cardinals
black cap basslet
splendid dottyback Dottybacks are usually jerks to other fish and any new inverts added to the tank
horned blenny
sea serpent or brittle starfish
blue tuxedo or pincushion urchin Tank is too new, needs lots of algae
yellow tang or other smaller tang Not in that sized tank
shrimp, crabs, snails, etc. keep the shrimp count low in that sized tank
firefish rarely can be kept in multiples, best to have just one
small group of agile chromis Not in that sized tank, only add one

If it is indeed a 30 gallon tank, probably best to keep it to the pair of clowns, pair of Pajamas and a single firefish.

Definitely have Snorvich check your wish list.
