Soft coral - equipment

I am "considering" a soft coral tank (Fish, LR and soft coral) using an Innovative Marine SR-80 (80 gal - 48x24x16) setup. Part of the reason for soft corals is the limited filtration options of the SR-80.

Anybody doing soft corals with limited equipment..no sump, small skimmer, small reactor?

I have a 25 gallon soft coral tank with minimal equipment. Currently run a AquaClear 50 with an InTank surface skimmer that holds carbon. Also have 4 mp10s going for flow with an ocean revive light.

My work tank is an Innovative marine Nuvo 30 ... No skimmer, Only gets a water change 2 times a month. I have a pair of clowns and a six line in the tank. Kessil 160 over it and I'm growing GSP, Devils Hand, Singulara, zoo's, clove polyps and mushrooms. Have a GBTA in the tank too.
