Soft Coral Warfare shroom vs. zoas

I posted pictures of the fighting between my large pink zoa colony and a lone rhodactus mushroom sitting on the side, The zoa's have encircled the shroom but the shroom is holding its ground. I wonder if i should remove it, is there any risk of tissue infection in the colony if i just let them have it out? Anyways pictures posted on :

from what i experienced in my tank, the hairy mushroom packs a nsaty punch when it comes to real estate. i would removed it unless u are trying to get rid of the zoos.

Are those the pink zoa's of death? If they are the hairy mushroom may be overmatched. Those zoas are very hardy and in my tank have overgrown many mushrooms.

Wow, cool pics. Thanks for sharing.

This reminds me of that 300 movie, where the Persians had the Spartans surrounded.

I dont think, from seeing the irritation of the polyps, that it is going to get overgrown, they seem to be keeping each other at bay, but now i am looking for a way to remove the mushroom.... hmmmf
