Soft softies don't look as great after the move to MH

Hey guys,

I recently moved over to MH recently and gave my corals some acclimation to the new like. Most of my softies and sps look great but there are thre species that are not doing as well as before. One is the eagle eye zoo's I have, their color isn't popping as much as before. The other one is the gold laced gloves that I have, they are still growing but the glove doesn't look as full as it use to. I little tired looking and the last is the GSP that don't fully extend anymore. I went from a 2x65 pc to a 175w with 2 28watt actinics. It's a new 10K XM bulb as well. Any suggestions?

Its not that you dont have enough actinic light as expedition is suggesting. MH bulbs are full spectrum, and just spike in different spectrums. How did you acclimate the tank ot the new light. Certain corals also need to be moved lower when higher lighting is added.

When I transferred my Zoa's from pc to mh they also suffered, but they are slowly adjusting. Just give them some time.

I have a lot of soft corals under 10k xm and they all look great
just give them time to color up. did you start the acclimation with the light higher up and lower it slowly ?

I agree with switching to a 14k bulb from your" XM " 10k.
Just how did you acclimate the corals?
