Solaris Lighting

Does anyone in the reef club besides me have a solaris light setup?

I had one but sold it when they got sued. LOl

But going back to LEDs hopefully they will here by the end of the month.

Well i bought mine before they got sued, my tank has been down since and I'm starting it back up. My lights have less then 40hrs on them. I was reading that the solaris power supplys have a know flaw. I can go into detail, but no one wants to here my techie dribble. I have found the a replacement that fixes said flaw and was just wondering if anyone who has them has had any issues.

Sorry couldn't tell you.
But I always see them FS but not working. I guess try to sale them for parts. That one fixture I wish I never wasted my money on. Chris at AC still has his hooked up on that zero edge tank.
With these LEDs that are coming out that you can control with storm and ext. Is a wast of money. Does notthing for you corals. And bring down the life of the led by half.
If it was me I would sale it. But that's jmo.

I'm way to invested to sell it now, plus they are cool looking. I'm just gonna make the best of them. I think once the power supply's are fixed i will borrow the PAR meter and see what im getting out of them. Also the way my tank is installed, MH are not even an option. In hind sight i wished i would have did a DIY LED setup, but you live and learn.

Cool man, i might take you up on that. I'm not 100% up and running yet, but when i am i just might need some help.
