Any better pics of it? Cool fish indeed did not look quite 6" in the pic, the goldflake and hybrid trigger must be bigger then I was thinking!

The trigger is not a blue jaw hybrid, but a recently discovered undescribed species being exported through Hawaii from Christmas Island.

Wild Centropyge interrupta are nothing but a headache and have one of the most dismal initial survival rates of any Centropyge species. Even for people who know angelfish well these things are a PIA. The reason we don't see them often is not because they're not available... ask anyone who's dealt with wild specimens and they'll tell you the same...

Well you have to start with wild specimens before you can have captive bred ones :). But yeah I know what you mean. That one wasn't very happy and it's fins were a little chewed up

Yes you have to start with wild specimens but you don't have to start with a 6" fish which is most likely swimming dead. When pairing any fish ie centropyge it's best to get juvis and let them work things out while you have a very attentive eye.
