Some Frags

Okay -- so I was moving some things around in my tank and I accidently fragged a couple of corals. I went ahead and fragged a few more things while I was at it.

ORA German Blue Digi (2" frag with 3 branches) - I only have one of these: $20
Purple-edge cap (~1") - I only have one of these: $10
Purple with blue polyps hodgensis (very cap-like with ridges). These frags range from about 1" to 3". I have 7 of these frags. - $10 for smaller frag, $15 for larger.
Pink Red Sea Pulsing Xenia (pom-pom). I have 5 frags of these with anywhere from 3-5 or so heads on each. $15 each

Here is a pic. The xenia are at the bottom. They pulse quite a bit and are pretty cool (my wife's favorite). The purple edge cap is top right. It is a shame I busted off a piece of this. The blue polyped hodgensis (?) is in the middle. The ORA digi is not pictured, but it is a spectacular coral.

If you are coming to the meeting at AC on Sunday, I could bring the frags with me.

I have seen that purple montipora called several different things. There is a Steve Tyree Limited Edition one just like it they are calling an undata. Where did you get it by chance? I spread several frags around a few years ago. One of my favorite corals.

I'd like a small Xenia......I can't believe I'm asking for that stuff, but it's different from the variety I have.

I got it from c_stowers, who I believe got it from fishdoc11, who may have gotten that from you? It also may have come this way from Cee?

Would love to pick up the German Blue digi and the purple cap if they're not spoken for. I am planning on attending the meeting at AC on Sunday so I can meet some of ya'll and see some others. Will be driving back to Nashville on Saturday and could possibly pick up then as well.

Jack- I know the one I got came from Cee (I was actually going to post a couple frags of it for the meeting as well) at the swap the year before this past one. So, I know for sure some of them are circulating around from him. That said, I never remember the actual name of it (I am currently trying to make a list, w/ pictures, of the common and scientific names of all of the corals we have, so I'll have to figure out a definite ID on it).

I know it's one of our favorites. We just busted a big piece of ours off to let another cap grow in a little underneath of it. By the time the meeting at our place rolls around, the left side of my tank is going to be a "cap" mecca.

My frag of the purple cap came directly from Cee. Although I do believe Fishdoc had some of the purple cap as well at some point.

Hey Scott! If I had the tank up I would hit you up for a frag of that blue tipped acro I got from you about 10 years ago. I had a meltdown and lost it. It was about 2 feet tall and the skeleton weighs about 12 lbs. :lol:

Crumble I might be interested in a purple cap too. I will come prepared anyway.

Good to hear that it did well for you. I kinda got out of the hobby (involuntarily) for a year or so and simply wasn't around to take care of my tanks, but have been getting them back in shape and have been re-stocking wth a fervor. I think I have the same monti that you're looking for and can hook you up if need be. I'm currently in Fla., but will be returning this weekend with a couple of coolers full of frags.

Upon further review, I meant the purple edged cap. I believe I have the purple/blue polyped monti that came indirectly from Cee.

I think that is a different one than you are thinking, Mike. If I'm not mistaken, Casey had a huge one he got from Eric when Eric sold out. That one came from you. I'd like a frag from whoever got it from Casey (Jenn loved it more than anything else in her tank before it died). Casey had both Cee's and reewik's and they were a little different in growth and color, if I remember correctly.

Sorry for the hijack, Jack... You can double my weekly floggings for a month.

Mine has grown quite a bit Gary and I can probably get you a frag of it. I also have a blue acro that I got from you at the frag swap that I can give you a piece of if you don't have any. I am thinking you said it was off of a wild colony.
